Precautions in the age of the coronavirus

We’re going ahead with summer camps because we feel that our program and education philosophy of small class sizes and emphasis on being outside lay the ideal foundation for a safe camp environment. Despite our small numbers, we know that many of you will still have concerns about sending your children to participate in any group activities, so we want to share with you the safeguards we are taking to minimize the risks of spreading the coronavirus.
✅fewer number of students each week in order to maintain social distancing
✅no more than 7 people in each classroom (fewer than what is mandated by the state.)
✅more time spent outdoors
✅more hand washing
✅more sanitizing of surfaces (using a diluted bleach solution recommended by the CDC)
✅face mask or face shield will be required when playing within 6ft of another person (bring your own or purchase one upon check in)
✅one group eating snacks/lunch at a time so each student can sit at his/her own table
✅health check upon sign in (an oximeter we will use to check everyone’s blood oxygen saturation. More info about why can be found here.)
