NoVA PlayLabs is offering a program to learn one of the most widely used programming languages in the world. Python is a very versatile and easy-to-learn starter language that is widely used by software developers, scientists and data analysts, from medical research to applications at NASA. Through the applications they create, campers will learn and practice core coding concepts and learn Python-specific concepts and syntax. Projects range from trivia games and RPGs to learning complex algorithms used with AI. Students will gain valuable experience with key concepts such as data structures and Object Oriented Programming, but will also be able to apply that to create fun games and grow as a coder.
Josh, the instructor, is a Python genius with a passion to show kids what they can do with Python and give them a foundation in the computer language that can be useful in high school, college, and beyond.
